It’s so nice to meet you.
I’m Lily. I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor living and working in Vancouver, BC.
But I’d like to share more than just my title.
I live my life with the belief that if we can say something out loud in a safe space, then we can move through it, and ideally heal through it. I haven’t always had a safe space, and I have learned first hand how difficult and scary it can be to seek out these spaces.
My first experience with counselling in my early 20s was nothing short of deeply uncomfortable, yet transformative. This is what brings me to this work. The intersection of discomfort and transformation – it takes immense courage to experience one in service of the other.
My own experiences with healing, suffering, thriving, and learning have informed my practice. I bring all of myself to my work – my history of cancer, my experiences with chronic stress and burnout, my decisions to leave relationships, my boundaries with friends and family, my relationship with myself, my practice of meditation, my fascination with the mind-body connection, my love of nature, and more. While I may not have walked your exact path before, I am here to walk alongside you.
My promise to you as your therapist is to sit with you, try to understand you, challenge you when needed, breathe with you, and help you feel heard and seen by me and most importantly, by yourself.
