You are welcome here.
Hey! I’m Lily
I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), researcher, and facilitator living in Vancouver, BC. I work out of two spaces: one in East Van on Odlum Dr., and one in Gastown on Homer St. You have the option of working with me at either location. I also offer online sessions via a secure platform.
I love connecting with people one-on-one and consider myself an extroverted introvert. I have always been fascinated by human relationships – with ourselves and with others. I have a background in a few different areas – leadership, tech, personal development coaching, and cancer care research. I love biking, listening to music, hiking, cooking fun recipes, sharing laughs with friends, travelling, watching TV, and of course, working as a therapist.
My therapeutic approach is relational and person-centered. Meaning, the relationship between us is critical to the work we do and the outcomes of the therapeutic process. Building safety, trust, rapport, and an authentic connection is what you’ll experience in session with me. Working with “experiential” therapies like emotionally-focused therapy, somatic therapy, and mindfulness, you’ll find yourself connecting with more than just your brain in our sessions together.
Offerings
Whether you are new to therapy or have a lot of experience under your belt, you are welcome here. My goal as a counsellor is to help you feel heard, seen, understood, and safe. It’s also to help you feel like you are making real progress and doing real work.
I recommend booking a free consult to get your questions answered and to see if we are a good fit! Consider it a therapy vibe check.

The first session is a time for us to connect and start building the therapeutic relationship. More practically, it’s a space for you to share what brought you to counselling and for me to learn more about you and your world. This means I’ll ask questions about your social life, your family, your career, your medical history, your relationships, your overall health, and more. I’ll also share my approach, and we will collaborate on what working together looks like.

I offer in-person and virtual sessions.
If we’re meeting virtually, you’ll receive a link to join via email prior to your appointment.
In-person appointments are offered in two locations: OneSpace in East Vancouver, or downtown at Avery Therapy Centre. We can discuss which location and availability works best for you in our consult. -
Usually, but it depends on your provider! We do not bill directly, however many extended benefits packages cover counselling by Registered Clinical Counsellors. This means, we’ll provide a receipt and license number following your appointment so you can submit to your benefits!
I recommend contacting your benefits provider or HR team at work to understand your coverage.

Life happens! If you need to cancel your appointment, we ask for 24 hours notice. This allows us to open up the slot for another client. If you need to cancel within 24 hours, we may charge a fee.

That is a-okay! There is no “right” way to show up in counselling, and my approach prioritizes you feeling safe and informed about the work we’re doing together. If it’s your first time, we’ll take space in the first session to talk about what counselling is and what you can expect.

Nope! Diagnosis or not, you are welcome here. We’ll discuss what’s going on in your life, how you’re feeling, and how I can help.
Registered Clinical Counsellors cannot diagnose, but we can refer you to Psychologists and other specialists who do!
